  • Attic fan fire hazard
Squirrel attempting to earn her fire building merit badge built this nest in a rooftop power ventilator (aka, attic fan). We removed the nest, juveniles, and damaged screening. Then went on the roof to install a Roof Vent Guard to prevent future nesting problems. Note, attic fans are a common attic entry point for raccoons, squirrels, and bats.
  • Secure Attic Fan
Rooftop Power Ventilator (aka attic fan) properly secured from animals using it to access attic or using it as a nest site. The Roof Vent Guard is a great product that can be removed to replace old attic fan or roofing, then reinstalled after work is done. Available in stainless steel or powder coated black galvanized metal.
  • Oh Rats!
One of our specialties is applying a proper Integrated Pest Management (IPM) philosophy. IPM addresses both the symptom (rats) and the real problem, which is access to your home. Our animal proofing leaves your house secure for years to come. No more endless battles to keep critters out.
  • Got poop?
A small section of this 3000sqft attic, showing what happens when you allow raccoons to spend a year or two in your attic. This toilet area is one of several in this large attic. We filled a 30 yard dumpster with all this soiled insulation and feces. Don't try to do wildlife a favor by providing housing, because they're not good house guests.
  • Attic restoration!
For attic insulation rendered unserviceable by animal feces and matted down from nesting and walking on it, we can remove all damage, sanitize, deodorize, and replace with new insulation. These insulation vacuums move soiled products out of the house via collection hose. No bagging and dragging through your living space.
  • Bird nest in dryer
Ah spring! That time of year for the birds and bees to, well, do what birds and bees do. This photos shows what Starlings (aka "blackbirds") can accomplish with an unguarded dryer vent. This pine needle nest fills the dryer and duct. The homeowner was just a load or two away from a house fire. We removed the nest, replaced the old, damaged duct, and installed a vent guard to prevent future problems.
  • Snakes R Us
While Black Rat Snakes provide excellent rodent control, most people aren't fond of them in the crawlspace. Our lead field technician, Jesse, displays his capture after crawling out of the crawlspace. It will be released in a remote location where it will be more welcome...except by the local mice and rats.
  • Raccoons in a prefab fireplace chimney chase
A bit tough to see, but these two raccoons have taken up residence in a chimney chase, which surrounds a prefabricated fireplace. They accessed the cavity via the attic, which was entered via an unsecured gable vent. Photo taken from the attic, through the same hole the raccoons used.
  • Bat proofing gable vents
Bat proofing a structure is a detailed process, requiring lots of ladder time and a keen eye. We're looking for and sealing every hole in a structure 1/2"X1/2" in size.
